I've already been told by a few family members that Matt and I are no longer allowed to go to "big games." We were at the game when the Boston Red Sox beat the St. Louis Cardinals in game 4 of the 2004 World Series. We were at last year's Big 12 Championship when Mizzou was blown out by Oklahoma. And, yes, we went to see Texas embarrass our poor old Tigers.
While the game was over in the first quarter, we made the most of our time out. Our sweet friends, Adam and Amber-Rose, went above and beyond the call of duty. They were gracious enough to watch our 2 girls (in addition to their 4 children!) for 7 hours so we could go to the Mizzou Alumni Tailgate and the game. They were even brave enough to take all 6 kids out for frozen yogurt!!!
The next morning I gave Grace some "memorabilia" from the game. She was so excited!!
And, just to clear up any questions - Yes, Matt and I still bleed BLACK and GOLD!!!

yeah, I root for UT a lot, especially against teams like OU, Tech, A&M, etc... but last weekend, I was definitely rooting for good ole Mizzou. and I never even lived in either town, just state pride, I suppose :)
